This wildly ethnic box is handmade from date palm leaves and goat leather by a group of craftswomen living in a remote oasis in Upper Egypt, near the Red Sea, called Shalateen. Known for their natural palm leaf weaving, this community preserves its nomadic traditions, settling in the shade of palm trees to bring dried palm leaves to life and shape.

This is a fully eco-designed product, made from 100% natural materials. You can place keys in it by an entryway, use it in the kitchen to store treats, or as a box for jewelry and secrets. It is also ideal for storing children's marbles as well as hair clips and scrunchies.
