Smaller and more refined than our Royal Hippopotamus, this model stands out for its singular character. It reveals the purity of its lines and the vibrant intensity of its bluish hue. It evokes quiet power and renewal, reminiscent of the sacred hippopotamuses of ancient Egypt.

Handcrafted by the artist Salah Sayed, from steatite from the eastern Egyptian desert, it is the result of ancestral know-how passed down from generation to generation. Each piece is unique, marked by the artisan's hand.

Covered with a glaze made of quartz and copper, then fired at high temperature using the method of ancient Egyptian faience, it combines brilliance and authenticity.
