In natural light, the natural white alabaster reveals a mineral, soft, and subtly nuanced appearance. Its surface displays the variations inherent to the stone, while its cylindrical shape, inspired by the lines of ancient Egyptian columns, gives it an almost sculptural presence, even when not illuminated.
When the candle illuminates the interior, the stone reveals a whole new facet. Thanks to its natural translucency, the white alabaster gently lets the light through, transforming into a soft and enveloping source of light. Amara is available in three sizes: 6 × 8 cm, 8 × 11 cm, and 10 × 18 cm (diameter × height). The three sizes can be chosen individually or combined to create different lighting compositions.
We recommend a tea light or an LED candle to fully enjoy the natural light of the alabaster. If you use a wax candle, a small amount of sand can be placed at the bottom to protect the stone and contain the melted wax. Amara can be installed on a terrace or in a garden to extend this warm light outdoors. We do, however, recommend protecting the stone from rain, prolonged humidity, and harsh weather conditions.
